Jim Rittenburg, VP of Pharmaceuticals, penned a column entitled, “Item Level Serialization of Pharmaceutical Products,
Taking it a Step at a Time,” that was included in the April 4th edition of the Word Health Forum newsletter. The column explains why mass serialization implemented through bar codes at the item level is a more sensible alternative today than RFID for preventing pharmaceutical counterfeiting and diversion.
